Crafted with Care, Inspired by Heritage

The prints on our garments are inspired by India’s many rich block printing traditions. All of the designs are made by hand and carved into blocks of wood, then printed using natural dyes from pomegranate rinds, alum and dhatura flowers.

To make these products, Harda is used to prep the fabric, then printed, washed and left out in the sun to make unique, sustainable items you can connect with through craft and culture.

Our Process

At FrabriArt, every creation starts with a vision. Our designers sketch original patterns, which are then transformed into hand-carved wooden blocks by skilled artisans. Using age-old techniques, these blocks form the soul of our prints. We carefully prepare natural dyes from ingredients like pomegranate skins, alum, and Dhaura flowers, while our organic fabrics are washed, softened, and treated with Harda to ensure they absorb colors beautifully.

The magic of block printing comes to life as each block is pressed by hand, layer by layer, creating patterns that are both intricate and soulful. Once printed, the fabrics are gently washed, boiled to fix the colors, and sun-dried to perfection. The result? Unique, sustainable textiles that carry the warmth of tradition and are ready to be worn and cherished.
